PPS-P350L 350W Power Station for Outdoor Movie Nights
A projector, a speaker and a string of lights turn a patio into a cinema for the evening. The PPS-P350L supplies that set from a 288Wh LiFePO4 pack, with 350W continuous and 600W peak so the projector can start up without a voltage dip.
PPS-P350L in a typical use setting
The load is smaller than people expect
Modern LED projectors draw 60-120W, a compact soundbar or two small speakers add 30-60W, and LED string lights take less than 20W. That puts a two hour film plus setup well inside the capacity of one pack.
| Evening setup | Draw | Runtime on 288Wh |
|---|---|---|
| Projector only | 90W | About 3 hours |
| Projector plus speakers | 140W | About 2 hours |
| Projector, speakers, lights | 160W | About 1.8 hours |

Peak headroom for startup
Projector lamps and audio amplifiers pull a short surge when switched on. The 600W peak rating absorbs that inrush, and the pure sine wave output keeps the projector image stable and the audio free of hum. If the evening runs long, the 10 ms EPS bypass lets the pack pass mains through while it recharges, so the show continues.
Setting up in minutes
The station weighs 4.15 kg and has a moulded handle, so it moves from a garage shelf to the garden in one trip. Two AC outlets take the projector and the speaker, the 140W USB-C port charges a streaming stick or a laptop, and the USB-A ports handle phones. There is no fuel, no exhaust and no cable running back into the house.
Recharging the next day
- Mains: about 1.6 hours at 200W.
- Solar: up to 240W MPPT, 12-35V input, for a panel left on the lawn.
- Car: 12-15V 8A socket for topping up at a tailgate or campsite.
Safety for family use
The pack is UN38.3 tested with CE, FCC, RoHS and PSE marks. The BMS cuts output on over-temperature or short circuit, and the LiFePO4 cells do not vent the way older chemistries can. It is rated for 3,500 cycles, so a weekly movie night is a small fraction of its service life.
