SOUOP Launches HP6000 V2 6000W Portable Power Station for US and EU Home Backup Market

SHENZHEN, China — SOUOP, the portable energy storage brand of Shenzhen Kerui Power Storage Co., Ltd., has introduced the HP6000 V2, a 4608Wh LiFePO4 power station built around a 6000W pure sine wave inverter, a 7200W boost mode and 9000W of surge. It is the largest frame in the SOUOP range, positioned for the North American and European home backup market, where installers want a quieter, fume-free alternative to a portable generator.

Why the US and EU market is moving toward battery backup

Demand in both regions is driven by the same three forces: grid reliability, energy cost and regulation. In the United States, wildfire-related public safety shutoffs in California, winter storm outages in Texas and hurricane seasons on the Gulf Coast have made multi-day outages a planning assumption. In Europe, storm damage to overhead networks and volatile wholesale prices have pushed households toward storing their own solar output rather than exporting it at reduced rates.

For distributors, that shift changes the product brief: buyers in Germany, France, the UK and the Nordics now want a unit that carries a fridge, a freezer, lighting, a sump pump and a network rack through an outage automatically.

What the HP6000 V2 brings to that brief

  • 4608Wh of usable-class storage. A 51.2V / 90Ah LiFePO4 bank covers a working day of household essentials or a full shift at a retail counter, without the watering and venting that lead-acid banks need.
  • Headroom where it matters. The inverter runs 6000W continuously, lifts to 7200W in boost mode and absorbs 9000W of surge, so compressors, well pumps and power tools start without tripping the unit.
  • Roughly 20ms EPS bypass. The built-in bypass path carries the load and transfers automatically, keeping computers, routers, cameras and point-of-sale terminals running through the gap.
  • Three charging paths. 1800W AC input on the 120V build, 3600W on the 230V build, a 2100W MPPT solar input on XT60 and a 12V car input cover mains, roof array and vehicle charging in one cabinet.
  • Market-ready outlets. EU, US, UK, AU, JP and BR standards are produced in house, alongside a 140W USB-C port and 18W USB-A ports.

Certification built for both markets

The HP6000 V2 ships with a certification set matched to its target regions: UL2743 and FCC for the United States, CE and RoHS for the European Union, UKCA for the United Kingdom, plus SAA and PSE. Both the 120V and 230V builds share one platform, so a distributor can carry a single product family across markets.

Manufacturing and brand behind the product

SOUOP has manufactured portable energy storage since 2008 at its Shenzhen plant, where battery pack assembly, BMS development, inverter production and final testing sit under one roof. The company employs 101 to 500 people and exports 80 to 90 percent of its output to Europe and North America, under ISO 9001 process control and BSCI social compliance. Every unit is charged, discharged, load tested and insulation checked before packing, and each pack carries a traceable serial number.

Because enclosure, inverter and battery are engineered in house, voltage variants, outlet standards, finish and branding can be adapted on OEM and ODM orders. Standard lead time is 15 to 25 working days after payment.

Availability

The HP6000 V2 is available now for distributor and installer orders: MOQ of one piece, T/T, L/C and Western Union accepted, supply capacity 1000 pieces per month, shipped on a wooden frame inside an export carton.

“Households in the US and Europe are no longer buying a power station for a camping weekend. They are buying it for the third outage of the year and expect it to take over unnoticed,” said Mr. Qiu, Sales Manager at SOUOP. “That is the specification the HP6000 V2 was engineered against: enough stored energy, enough surge headroom, and a transfer fast enough that the router never reboots.”
